Scottish Opera

Corporate Partnerships Manager-Salary £28,782 - £35,322 pro rata per annum, depending on experience

(Part-time)
£28,782 p/year
With 60th Anniversary celebrations in 2022, Scottish Opera has ambitious plans in mind, and as such requires an experienced Corporate Partnership Manager to lead and develop a strategy to involve Scotland’s corporate community and increase support for spectacular performances and award-winning education and outreach work. Last year, Scottish Opera supported 17,944 participants in outreach events ranging from activities for babies through to the award-winning dementia projects and over 107,000 people
engaged with Scottish Opera through performances and events.

By developing and managing a portfolio of corporate supporters, the successful candidate will raise awareness of the transformational work Scottish Opera provides through schools, community initiatives, touring performances and mainstage operas and seek financial support from a variety of corporate sources. In return, they will offer corporate sponsorship packages, advertising and bespoke experiences in recognition of support.

In consultation with colleagues, develop prospect and solicitation plans for corporate sponsors as required and compile bespoke sponsorship proposals, which are inspiring and creative. They will ensure appropriate contracts are in place, agreed benefits are delivered, and, where appropriate, renewals are secured.

Working as part of a busy and proactive fundraising team, the Corporate Partnership Manager will report to the Director of Fundraising while also working closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications and General Director of Scottish Opera.

This part-time post is fixed term for three years with continuation depending on success. Success will be measured by an increase in both annual corporate income and the number of corporates who provide in-kind support, by the end of the third year.
