Artistic Advisor

Orchestra Victoria is one of only two specialist opera and ballet orchestras in Australia. As Orchestra Victoria’s lead artistic role, the Artistic Adviser will provide expert advice and work closely with our performance partners to ensure the Company maintains the artistic standards of a world-class orchestra. They will also collaborate with key Orchestra Victoria Management staff to develop and curate programs as part of the orchestra’s self-presented programs in line with Orchestra Victoria’s Strategic Plan.

The position is suitable for an experienced artistic leader and is based in Melbourne. Hours of work will be determined alongside Orchestra Victoria’s General Manager and may include work on weekends and in the evenings.
