Administrator

£24,000 - £25,000 p/year
An exciting opportunity to work with London's leading independent large chorus. The administrator will work as part of a team with the Marketing Manager and Community Engagement Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Chair, Hon Treasurer and other trustees as required, attending and minuting meetings in London, or online, and providing day-to-day support. The Administrator will also assist with preparations for concerts, recordings, Come and Sing days and other events promoted by The Bach Choir, including attending on the day. The Administrator is the primary point of contact for applicants for audition, and will organise and schedule audition evenings including booking venues, and being in attendance at auditions, liaising with the Membership Secretary as appropriate. The Administrator is the primary point of contact for members of our various donor programmes, organising and supporting events as required, maintaining accurate records of donations and membership, and ensuring that fundraising income is monitored and supporter acknowledgements are correctly fulfilled. The Administrator will also research suitable Trusts and Foundations to support the Choir’s bursary and community engagement programmes, writing applications and monitoring the outcomes (training and support will be provided). The Administrator will need to be comfortable working remotely from home. The Bach Choir does not have an office. Attendance at weekly Monday evening rehearsals is expected and travel expenses for meetings, rehearsals and concerts will be paid within the Greater London area.
