Lucerne International Soloist Competition

The Lucerne International Soloist Competition (LISC) is going to take place from 21st to 25 September 2020 at Lucerne’s KKL concert and convention centre. Musicians of all nations born in 1990 or later will be eligible to participate. The number of participants is limited to 30 soloists.

The prize money to be won will be:
Winner CHF 11,000 in cash
Runner-up CHF 5,000 in cash
Third place CHF 3,000 in cash

Concert appearance at the Classical Gala (Prize Winner Concert) on 25th September 2020 is mandatory for the winner and part of the first prize.

Laurent Tinguely (Switzerland), Principal Trumpet of «Orchestra of the Opera Zurich»
Holger Bronner (Germany), Principal Trumpet of «Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra»
Philipp Cobb, (England), Principal Trumpet «London Symphony Orchestra»
