YPF European Piano Competition - Grand Prix Youri Egorov 2022

The YPF European Piano Competition will take place in February 2022 and will open its doors to young pianists up to and incl. the age of 27 from the European Union and the United Kingdom.
Members of the international jury: Severin Von Eckardstein, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, Edith Fischer, Nino Gvetadze, Hannes Minnaar, Marco Riaskoff and Malcolm Singer. The repertoire will be partly free, but the most important style periods will have to be part of the repertoire in different rounds. The following works have been made compulsory: in the semi-finals a chamber music piece by Brahms and in the final one of the concerto’s by Beethoven or the concerto by Schumann. Prior to the competition, potential candidates are selected through video submissions. The quarter and semi finals will take place at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam and the final, together with the PHION Orchestra and Antony Hermus, in Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, a leading concert hall in Amsterdam. Application is open!
