Bartók World Competition - Violin 2023

The Liszt Academy announces the Violin Competition 2023.
The competition is open to violinists from all nationalities aged max. 30 years (born on or after 2 September 1993)
The competition consists of a pre-selection round arranged by video, and three live competition rounds (a preliminary, a semi-final and a final) held at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. About thirty candidates will enter the Preliminary, twelve will make it to the Semi-final and six get into the Final.
The competition ends with a Gala Concert including the Award Ceremony.
The entire live competition is open to the public. The Final will be streamed live and broadcast on radio.
Competitors admitted to the Final are provided with hotel accommodation.
