Romberg Cello - Preis 2026

The Romberg Cello Prize is part of the Romberg Festival and is organized by the Förderverein Harkotten e. V. in cooperation with the Münster University of Music, with generous support from the Sparkasse Münsterland Ost Foundation.
The competition is aimed at young cellists from all over the world and is conceived as a tribute to the great Westphalian cello tradition of Bernhard Romberg.

Two Romberg Encouragement Prizes
€ 1,000 each
Prize winners will also receive an invitation to perform at the Romberg Festival 2027.
Non-cash prizes (string sets), generously provided by Thomastik-Infeld Vienna
