2026 Tune Writing Competition for the Dorset Fiddlers

The Dorset Fiddlers are delighted to announce our second annual tune writing competition. Our concerts juxtapose new music alongside tunes from historic Dorset manuscripts and we wish to encourage innovation in a constantly evolving tradition.
If you would like to hear your music showcased by the Dorset Fiddlers in our autumn/spring programme then now is the time to get creative and sharpen your composing pencil - we look forward to hearing from you!
