ClariMondo Festival with Masterclasses, Workshops and Orchestra

23 - 26 May, 2019

In their third inception the clarinet days in the BDB academy – now with the tuneful name “ClariMondo” - will again offer training and inspiration for clarinetists of every age and skill level with a diverse program of courses and workshops, and feature an exhibition of both instruments and music sheets. The festival program covers a wide range of topics, including playing in an ensemble, the Alexander technique for clarinetists, instrument maintenance and working with reeds.
There will also be one-to-one lessons and an ensemble for bass clarinetists, as well as “clarinet4kids&teens”, which gives children the opportunity to learn from professionals in a new setting.
With Harri Mäki (Sibelius Academy Helsinki), Johannes Peitz (Academy of music and theatre Hannover) and Andreas Langenbuch (Robert Schumann Hochschule of music in Düsseldorf), we will also have three exceptional soloists and professors of renowned universities passing on their proficiency in Masterclasses at ClariMondo.
