This friendly course at Malvern College is one of the UK’s most established summer courses for amateur wind players - a chamber music course for those seeking an inspirational approach to their music-making. The main aim of the course is to offer a unique approach for all participants, covering a wide range of performance-related skills, with an emphasis on quality music-making. For flute,oboe,clarinet,bassoon and horn players of minimum Grade 6 to post-Diploma standard, to play in ensembles of graded ability with expert tutoring by experienced professional performers. The course culminates with two concerts at the end of the week, one in the Priory in Malvern town and features other actives such as a tutors concert, morning warmups, external guest concert, individual instrument specific classes amongst others. A quote from a participant this year; “All of the tutors' enthusiasm and unrelenting positivity was infectious and I feel my confidence has grown massively in a week"
