A course for aspiring singers who would like to give a serious try to their lyrical abilities with the renown Maestra Patrizia Morandini
Patrizia Morandini was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She moved to Florence at a young age and studied voice, piano and composition at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory.She participated in the Pavarotti Competition of Philadelphia and Voci Pucciniane of Lucca. She debuted at Brecht/Weill’s Threepenny Opera [Die Dreigroschenoper] at the Teatro Comunale Florence. During her international career that began soon after, she performed in Russia, Brazil, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Romania, singing roles in the operas Aida, Madama Butterfly, Turandot, Il trovatore, Orfeo ed Eurydice, Tosca, Carmen, Cavelleria rusticana, La bohème, The Power of Fate [La forza del destino], Pagliacci and Suor Angelica.
Several of her performances have been preserved in recordings (Bongiovanni, MIM). She regularly teaches at singing seminars at the University of Bahia
