Baroque'600 (B'600). It is a project dedicated to the music of the seventeenth century (sacred and profane vocal, instrumental).
Each student can face their own individual repertoire and at the same time take part in focuses that are defined by the teachers from year to year. Focus of Barocco’600 2022 is the Jephte by Giacomo Carissimi.
Barocco’600 is dedicated to the relationship between words and music, the theory of affects, musical rhetoric, technique and vocal and instrumental performance practice.
Barocco’600 represents a unique opportunity for singers and instrumentalists to rehearse, experiment, to increase their wealth of experience also with concerts and important collaborations promoted by the San Marino International Music Summer Courses.
