Hong Kong International Operatic Singing Competition 2021

29 Jun - 04 Jul, 2021

Musica Viva (HK), a not-for-profit charity organisation that produces opera and classical music events internationally and locally, inaugurated the Hong Kong International Operatic Singing Competition (HKIOSC) in 2018, aiming to recognise and help developing young singers from all around the world in view of a lack of operatic competitions available in Asia.

The application to the HKIOSC 2021 opens on 01 September 2020, and the event will take place from 29 June to 4 July 2021 at the Hong Kong City Hall (TBC).

The jury of HKIOSC 2021 again consists of internationally-acclaimed artists and practitioners like the world-renowned soprano, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa; UNESCO Artist for Peace, soprano Sumi Jo; director of the Wales International Academy of Voice, Dennis O’Neill, etc.
