Mansurian International Competition: Composition

The Competition is open to academic composers of any nationality and age. Each composer should submit one vocal-instrumental piece or series featuring voice and one or 2 instruments. The submitted work must have been written within the period of last year, unpublished, never recorded and performed.
The pieces can feature the following voices and instruments:
* Voice: soprano, mezzo-soprano, tenor, baritone, bass
* Instruments: flute (+piccolo and alto), clarinet, violin, viola, cello, piano
The composition must be based on Armenian medieval, classical or modern poetry (original pieces or translated versions).
Duration of the work: 8-12 min.

1st Prize – 3,000 USD
2nd Prize – 2,000 USD
3rd Prize – 1,000 USD
