ONLINE 20th International Friedrich Kuhlau Flute Competition

The German-Danish composer Friedrich Kuhlau was born in Uelzen on September 11, 1786 and died in Copenhagen on March 12, 1832. The Competition has been held since 1970 in honour of the composer.
We are very pleased that, in addition to the competition in Uelzen in October 2023 we are also able to offer an online competition!

Online-Category IV Ensemble 2-5 instruments
Ensembles have to submit a video-link
The programme must be 20-25 min. long and consist of one or more works by F. Kuhlau. Transcriptions, arrangements and the performance of single mvts. are allowed. The choice of instruments is free.
The chairwoman of the jury and two other jury members select the winners from the submitted videos.
Registration deadline: June 15, 2023 AND video by June 15, 2023
