The Finnish Broadcasting Company invites applications for the position of 1st Violin Player (tutti).

The auditions for the position will be held at the Helsinki Music Centre on March 19–20, 2020 and the deadline for applications is 23.59 Finnish time on February 5, 2020.

The job-specific monthly salary for the 1st Violin position is €3.522,00 (with 5-year professional orchestra experience supplement €3.685,54). There is also dress and instrument allowance.

The Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra welcomes applications from candidates of all nationalities.

The Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra (FRSO) is the orchestra of the Finnish Broadcasting Company (Yle). The FRSO, a leading Scandinavian orchestra, can be heard in widely varied repertoire at its concert series in Helsinki Music Centre, on regular tours abroad and on radio, tv, internet and disc. The orchestra’s Chief Conductor is Hannu Lintu; Chief Conductor Designate Nicholas Collon will take over from Hannu Lintu in 2021.
