Beautiful Puchner “Original”,
Serial number 5959. I have owned this bassoon for 6 years and it has been a lovely, well rounded, reliable instrument for solo and orchestral playing. It is from the early 1960s, between 1960 and 1964 I believe. There really aren’t many of these around it is quite individual.
It has front rollers, two crook-locks and two low C keys and a high D key. Selling with a Puchner no.2 crook.
I can possibly organise to sell the case with the instrument (tutti fagotti case bought new 6 years ago).
I bought it from DoubleReed and it has been regularly serviced and played in amateur and professional orchestras.
Has been valued, will consider reasonable offers.
