Tianjin Juilliard School
Part-Time English Language Faculty, Pre-College Division
(Teilzeit)
The work will take place in Tianjin on Saturdays during the academic year (September – May). This position earns an hourly wage.
• Prepare and teach weekly English for Musical Purposes (EMP) lessons based on the TJS curriculum
• Assess and grade students based on class performance and scheduled assessments
• Participate in the annual assessments for new students
Qualifications:
• Teaching qualification in English Education (TEFL/TESOL/Chinese English Teaching Certificate)
• Background knowledge of Western classical music
• Experience and interest in working with Pre-College aged students
• Experience teaching classroom skills courses such as English as a Second Language
• Experience of performance
• Ability to read staff notation
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Mandarin
