INTRODUCTION

Tianjin Juilliard’s Continuing Education Division offers a wide range of programs for professional and pre-professional musicians and music teachers, including professional development workshops, teacher certification courses, and other resources to support teacher training and career development.

Continuing Education offers a professional development music course for Pre-K teachers who work with students ages 18 months to 5 years old. The course is designed for Pre-K educators with or without music backgrounds. The course will be taught bilingually in Chinese and English, in a combination of in-person and online delivery.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will be a teacher trainer, working with participants who are pre-K teachers at international schools, childcare centers, and enrichment centers. Incumbents will undergo intensive training by TJS master trainers to deliver the proprietary curriculum effectively and accurately.

Additional responsibilities:
• Participate in training session from Tianjin and New York Juilliard master trainers, as necessary
• Learn the course curriculum and deliver the lessons in an engaging way
• Work closely with TJS program coordinators and master trainers to understand course goals and objectives, and learn TJS culture of learning
• Observe participants in class, offer feedback, and assess quality of their participation
