ItaliaParma 10th International Franz Liszt “Premio Zanfi” Piano Competition
The 10th International Franz Liszt “Premio Mario Zanfi” Piano Competition will be held in Parma (Italy) from 2 to 7 November 2015. The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities, born on or after January 1, 1980. President of the Jury: Maestro Roberto Cappello, Director of the Conservatory “Arrigo Boito” - Parma. Three Competition prizes will be awarded: First prize € 8.000,00 Second prize € 4.000,00 Third prize € 2.000,00 The winner and the other finalists will be recommended by the Jury to important concert institutions. Deadline of applications: 30 September 2015.

Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino announces open the enrolment for the selections for admission to the Academy of advanced specialization for Répétiteurs for the season 2015-2016. The course is designed to train and form the Répétiteurs in various specializations: maestro di sala, score, stage, prompter and lighting. Admission to the Course is reserved for pianists between 18 and 30 years of age, possessing a Diploma or Academic Diploma of the I or II level in piano. The training course will take place from November 2015 through June 2016, with the possibility of an extension.

The 18th Kerikeri International Piano Competition will be held in the scenic Bay of Islands, North Island New Zealand from 30 June to 3 July 2016. 14 aspiring concert pianists from around the world will perform over 3 days of competition in front of an international panel of adjudicators The total prize purse will be NZ$33000 with a first prize of NZ$15000. Open to pianists of any nationality under 28 years of age on 29 June 2016. Category D (amateurs from 18, no maximum age limit), free programme 10-15 minutes; Prize: one week in Trentino (Dolomiti) region for 2 people. Category E (professionals, age limit 33), round 1: 15-20 minutes containing at least: one movement of classical sonata or theme and variations (composed before 1828); round 2: free programme of 30-35.
