Marigaux 901 Oboe

This 901 is an exceptionally beautiful horn. It has the half automatic octave key system, and all the normal professional octave keys, articulated D, etc.
Plastic top joint, otherwise wood. Voiced by oboe techs of Marigaux at the 2019 IDRS conference. Purchased new from RDG Woodwinds in Los Angeles in spring of 2019. It has had one owner, who has been a professional player and university level instructor.
This horn has impeccable intonation (including low G, low C#, high A), an extraordinary tone, and flawless mechanics. You will not be disappointed.
Reason for selling: I am retiring from playing and teaching and would like that this horn graces whoever buys it. It is too nice of a horn to be sitting in my closet or played only intermittantly.
Please note: The original case was not very protective and was too long for my favorite gig bag. This case is a Protech and is much better.
