Kronwalt Bassoon

I sell this magnificent Kronwalt bassoon. I played it during Bachelor studies at Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock.

The Kronwalt is a great Instrument made through a cooperation between bassoon master crafters R. Walter and G. Wolf. The bassoon has a very sonorous, warm sound and responds easily, especially in the very low and in the very high registers. It is equipped with professional features (trill-, flip-, additional keys, rolls etc. l. pictures) like the trill keys and tone hole shafts.

I played it with a 2 M Leitzinger Bocal (English bend). It is sold with a normal Leitzinger Bocal, platinum coated.

Although the corpus is a distinct Walter work, the mechanics are modern and innovative (Wolf).

I recommend this bassoon for advanced students heading for/playing in college and professionals alike.
