We are looking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic candidate to the above position. The successful applicant will have the relevant qualifications and experience to play a key role in supporting our thriving and well-resourced Music Faculty. You will have excellent communication skills, be committed to high standards of work and be willing to be flexible in regards to working hours to assist with concerts and other relevant activities outside of standard school hours.

The post-holder will co-ordinate the provision of administrative support to staff and students within the Faculty. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, administering instrumental hire, preparing the weekly timetable for our visiting music teachers, dealing with enquiries form students, staff and parents, helping with the Music Faculty performance programme and the organisation of music prizes, monitoring the budget allocation and organising the tuning of our pianos.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children and young people in an educational setting, combined with the desire to support the progress and development of the Faculty. The ability to use computers and Microsoft Office is essential. Knowledge of music industry standard systems is desirable.

Hours of work are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, term time plus one week during school holidays (36 weeks).
