About the Event
The 1st Thessaloniki LWI Composition Masterclass & Competition for Film Music brings together emerging composers from Greece and abroad for an intensive five-day programme dedicated to the art and practice of composing music for film.
Through masterclasses, workshops, individual mentoring, working sessions, screenings and recording sessions, participants will have the opportunity to develop original scores for selected film scenes under the guidance of distinguished professionals from the fields of composition, film music and cinema.
The programme combines artistic development, practical experience and competition, offering participants the opportunity to receive individualised feedback, exchange ideas with fellow composers, work with musicians and recording technology, and present their work within a professional film and music environment…..
