ICMC-Intercontinental Music Competition for Youth, European Stage

ICMC Europe - Intercontinental Music Competition for Youth, European Stage is an international competition for young pianists, string players and composers aged 5–22. Its concept connects the classical tradition with the music of today: Round I features works by "immortal" composers, Round II is dedicated to living composers, many of whom collaborate directly with the competition.

Both rounds take place online via video submission

Round I deadline: 1 November 2026;
Round II deadline: 15 January 2027.

Winners receive cash prizes, trophies, diplomas, Composer's Special Prizes and special prizes from our partners, and are invited to perform at the Final Gala Concerts on 10–11 April 2027 at the historic Ehrbar Saal in Vienna, as soloists or with orchestra.
