PROJECT INCLUSION STRING FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
A unique paid opportunity for string players aged 18 - 29 from diverse backgrounds historically underrepresented in the orchestral field (African American, Native American, Latinx). Fellows rehearse and perform with the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus and receive professional training and mentorship, perform weekly chamber concerts as a quartet in neighborhoods throughout Chicago, and professional development with industry professionals.

Four Available Fellowships: Violin (2), Viola, Cello
Dates: June 5 - July 30, 2022 plus required Gala performance in October
Stipend: $8,500 US (approx. based on rehearsal/performance schedule)
VIDEO DEADLINE: February 18, 2022
Finalist Audition: March 2022 (in Chicago)

Candidates MUST be legally allowed to work in the United States at time of application. Finalists are eligible for travel reimbursement for final in-person audition.
