The Opera Australia Orchestra seeks an outstanding musician to fill the permanent position of Associate Principal Viola:
Remuneration Package: including superannuation and allowances: from $103,602 plus parking reimbursement

There are two selection routes for the Associate Principal Viola position either;
1. Expressions of interest (EOI);
The EOI process aims to identify a suitable individual to fill the Associate Principal Viola position. All applications will be subject to a review of CVs and recorded material. Successful candidates will be invited to do a short trial, involving performances of 1 or more opera, as well as a short recital; more details will be provided on application.

If an EOI applicant is not selected from the shortlisting round, they may still be invited to join the audition process and play a live audition on May 7 and May 8. Any travel required would be at the candidate’s expense.
Applications Close: online application and Audio visual recording URLS must be received by 5pm AEST, Monday 6 April, 2020. No late applications will be accepted.

2. Audition.
An audition will be held on in Sydney on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 May. This audition is open to international candidates (travel at own expense). The outcome of the audition will be to select one or more suitable candidates to take part in the short trial process.
Applications Close: 5pm AEST Friday April 10, 2020 No late applications will be accepted.
