Simon Andrew Forster England 1850
Beautiful example of S A Forster's work. Made for The Great Exhibition in London 1850. Inscribed No 11 on the bouts and inside. 2 piece back 16 9/16ths (42cm) back. Described by Charles Beare as the finest English viola he had ever seen apart from Panormos.
