Eero Haahti, 2009

Prix: On request

Violin by master restorer and maker Eero Haahti built in 2009.
Eero Haahti has restored some of the highest priced violins in the world incl Stradivari and Guarneri and has won multiple awards for his own instruments such as VSA competition. His instruments are played all over Scandinavia.

The Swedish violinist Jon Dalene was a prize winner in the Menuhin competition playing a Haahti violin in 2016.

This violin was my concert instrument for many years and has been used for solo concertos with orchestra, recitals and chamber music.
The violin has excellent projection with great depth and focus. Moreover, the sound has a quality to it rarely found in modern instruments.
I was able to select this instrument from 5 Haahti violins when I purchased it and it clearly stood out from the field.
The instrument is viewable in Copenhagen.
Certification: By maker
