This is a German trade violin made circa 1920. It bears a typical “Strad” label made in Germany
LOB 355mm
The one-piece maple back has faint medium curl, falling slightly right to left.
The front is of two-piece spruce with medium, straight grain.
The varnish is gold/brown in colour
The violin is fitted with ebony pegs, an integrated tailpiece. It has a new bridge, soundpost and Dominant strings. (Different strings are available if required).
The violin is in good playable condition.
