EVDIV 164 - Advanced Conducting Intensive - online

The online Advanced Conducting Intensive accommodates students worldwide. Participants gather virtually to explore key aspects of conducting including score study and preparation, creativity and problem-solving in rehearsal and performance, applied analysis, and how to communicate with specificity and grace, with or without a baton. Class activities include conducting, analysis, score reading, and case studies; each student receives close individual attention. Repertoire will be communicated in advance to registered students and will be chosen to ensure that students repeating the class encounter fresh repertoire. Prerequisite: Applicants must have sufficient score-reading experience.

An online application is required for the student to be considered for admission.
