Musician Competition 2022
Classic Pure Vienna is a competition organization based in Vienna, which aims to support young musicians of our time worldwide.

    Eligibility

  • The competition is open to musicians of all nationalities and ages.

  • Participants can participate with any instrument. 

    Category A

  • For musicians who are 18 years old or older by 2022.

    Category B

  • For musicians who are 17 years old or younger by 2022.

    Regulation​​​

  • Any instrument may be used.

  • The composition may have one or more movements.

  • The jury will observe the overall instrumental capability and musicality of the candidate's performance

  • Application DEADLINE: October 20, 2022

  • Announcement: November 1, 2022

  • The winners will be invited to the award ceremony in MOZARTHAUS VIENNA, which Classic Pure Vienna will organize on December 2, 2022.

    Award for Musician Competition

  • Award will be a live concert at the Mozarthaus in Vienna, Austria with a professional live video and audio recording.

  • 4 winners from each category will be invited to perform at the final concert in Vienna, which will be organized and promoted by Classic Pure Vienna.

  • Each soloist or ensemble will receive an amount of 250 € for their costs during the concert day.

  • The winners of the A and B age categories will be entitled to a certificate of participation and an award plaque for the competition. They will be performing concert series to be held on December 2, 2022, at Mozarthaus Vienna in Vienna.

  • Each finalist will receive a recording of the concert.

  • The winners of the Special Mention, the Special Jury Prize, and the Young Talent Prize in the age categories A and B are entitled to a certificate of participation and a prize plaque for the competition.

    Competition

  • Participants will send a video link of their performance to the address: verein.culturemeetingpoint@gmail.com

  • Participants are free to choose the repertoire.

  • The jury committee will choose the winners among the submitted videos of the participants

  • Four winners from each category will be informed and invited to perform at the concert in Vienna.

  • The program will be a maximum of 15 minutes per participant.

  • Participants are free to choose the work they are going to play.

  • It may be a piece from the videos or another work

  • Musicians may bring their own accompanists.

  • If required, an accompanist will be offered by Classical Pure Vienna

  • All participants who have won a degree in the competition are invited to the concert and award ceremony on December 2, 2022, at the MozarthausVienna in Vienna. Accommodation, transportation, and all kinds of expenses belong to them.

  • Information about the performed work

  • A passport or ID copy of the applicant

    Registration fee for Musician Competition

  •  The entry fee for the Category A of the Musician Competition is as follows (transfer fee excluded)

       CATEGORY A: Solo: 75 € / Duo: 105 € / Trio: 135 € / Quartet: 155 € / Quintet:  175 €

  •  The Entry fee for the Category B of the Musician Competition is as follows (transfer fee excluded)

       CATEGORY B: Solo: 55 € / Duo: 85 € / Trio: 115 € / Quartet: 135 € / Quintet: 155 €

    Evaluation & Jury Members

  • A jury assembled by Classic Pure Vienna will evaluate the videos. The Jury’s decisions cannot be appealed.

  • By agreeing to take part in the competition, all competitors undertake to accept and not to contest these decisions. The jury is not required to provide personal feedback and comments on performances.

  • Jury members are Burghard Toelke, Çağrı Beklen, Chikara Shiojima, Eldar Hudiev, Farkhad Khudyev, Anthony Tam, Oleg Marshev, Peter Illavsky.
