The Arapahoe Philharmonic and Music Director Devin Patrick Hughes are excited to announce the following opening:
Concertmaster/Leader

The Concertmaster, or Leader, is the most critical musical and artistic role in the orchestra. They are the leader not only of the violins, but from an aural standpoint, also the leader of the entire orchestra.
Working together with the Music Director, the Concertmaster sets the musical tone, artistic standards, and serves as a role model, guide, coach, and mentor for everyone in the orchestra.
The new concertmaster and leader will bring new ideas, strategies and leadership, to take the Arapahoe Philharmonic strings to yet another level of artistry, creativity, and inspiration.
The successful candidate will have a presence in the central Colorado, USA area for most of the season (September-May).

Instructions
• Video and audio should be recorded in higher quality when possible.
• Files should be uploaded to Google Drive.
• A select pool of applicants will be advance to the final round, which is TBA in
Denver.
Applications for the Concertmaster position should include:
• Resume
• Video of no more than 5 minutes with any or all of the following:
• introducing yourself
• discussing your interest in the Arapahoe Philharmonic • your leadership experience
• musical philosophies
• Solo and excerpt video(s) below
