I am currently selling my 2023 viola made by the renowned luthier François Denis (Author of the 2006 Traité de Luthierie).
The instrument measures at 41 cm, therefore being accessible to instrumentalists who have shorter hand lengths. It is an amazingly comfortable viola to play, characterized by a deep, enveloping sound that projects very well in large spaces such as concert and recital halls. It is modeled in François’ signature instrument making style, while boasting some characteristics of Brescian inspiration, described by the maker as a very good instrument for those looking for a personable sound and far-reaching projection in their instruments.
Across the years it has accompanied me in several orchestral engagements, as well as festivals and chamber music performances across Europe and the United States.
