Come be a part of the nation’s longest running free outdoor summer classical music series for our 85th Season!

PROJECT INCLUSION STRING FELLOWSHIP
A unique paid opportunity for string players aged 18-29 from diverse backgrounds historically underrepresented in the orchestral field, including but not limited to African American, Native American, and Latinx artists. Fellows rehearse and perform with the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus, receive professional training and mentorship, perform weekly chamber music concerts in neighborhoods throughout Chicago, and participate in community engagement programs.

Four Available Fellowships: Violin (2), Viola, Cello
Dates: June 3 - July 27, 2019
Stipend: $6,800 US (approximate)
Video Application Deadline: February 15, 2019
In-Person Finalist Audition: March 15, 2019 (in Chicago)
