Invites applications for the permanent position of
TRUMPET TUTTI
The audition will be held at Turku Concert Hall on Monday 29th of August, 2022.
Audition repertoire
- George Enescu: Légende
- Arthur Honegger: Intrada
- Orchestral excerpts, which will be sent to applicants after the closing date and the video pre-round selections
Applications
A video pre-round will be arranged. The closing date for the applications is Monday 25th of July 2022 at midnight, 24:00 PM (GMT+2 Finnish time). For applying, please fill the online application form available on Musicalchairs.
Please include in the application a link to a video, which includes applicant’s performance of the following program:
- Theo Charlier: Etude No. 2 Du Style (on Bb trumpet)
- Béla Bartok: Concerto for orchestra, two second trumpet orchestral excerpts from 2nd and 5th mvt
The materials of the excerpts are available on this page.
Instructions for making the video
The video must be recorded with one camera and the player and the instrument in the picture throughout. The video including whole pre-round program should be filmed without cuts in one entirety in the order listed above. Post-processing of the sound and/or picture is prohibited. A reasonable quality should be aimed at. The orchestra tunes in 442. Please upload your video via your Musicalchairs application.
Applications or video materials sent by e-mail will not be taken into consideration. No feedback on the videos will be given.
Invitations to attend the audition will be sent to selected candidates by email after the closing date. A pre-selection will be done based on the applications and the videos.
