Principal 2nd Violin
The Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra (FRSO) is the orchestra of the Finnish Broadcasting Company (Yle). The FRSO, a leading Scandinavian orchestra, can be heard in widely varied repertoire at its concert series in Helsinki Music Centre, on regular tours abroad and on radio, tv, internet and disc. The orchestra’s Chief Conductor as of Autumn 2021 is Nicholas Collon.
The FRSO now invites applications for the position of
Principal 2nd Violin
The auditions will be held at the Helsinki Music Centre on October 10-11, 2022.
The job-specific monthly salary for the Principal 2nd Violin is €4 219,33 (with 5-year professional orchestra experience supplement €4 413,72). There is also dress and instrument allowance. The applicant chosen for the position will also, if they wish, have the use of a valuable Matteo Goffriller violin (1730–35).
