Concermaster / Concertmistress (Violin)
Audition date: 27th September (Tuesday) 2022, 2.00 PM
CONCERTMASTER / CONCERTMISTRESS (VIOLIN): full-time job
Please send your application with a short CV by 16th September 2022.
Expected start of work: October 2022.
An accompanist will be provided by the theatre on request.
We will send orchestral parts on request.
Qualification:
• Adequate musical skills and instrumental technique.
• Education: academy, conservatory, or another school of the same level.
Audition repertoire:
• 1st movement with cadenza from any classical solo concerto (Mozart) and one andante and one allegro movement from any romantic concerto.
• Orchestral parts:
B. Smetana – The Bartered Bride (ouverture),
A. Dvořák – Rusalka,
L. Janáček – The Adventures of the Cunning Fox,
P. I. Tchaikovsky – Swan Lake (solo),
J. Offenbach – Orpheus in the Underworld (solo),
L. Janáček – Její pastorkyňa (solo + tutti).
