Invites applications for the permanent position of 4th HORN with obligation to play 2nd Horn and Wagner tuba
The audition will be held at Turku Concert Hall on Wed 31st of May, 2023 starting at 12:00 noon.
Audition repertoire
- W. A. Mozart: Horn Concerto No. 3 in E-flat Major KV 447, 1st mvt with cadenza
- Hermann Neuling: Bagatelle für tiefes Horn und Klavier
- Orchestral excerpts, which will be sent to applicants after the closing date
The audition may also include an interview (in Finnish or in English).

Invitations to attend the audition will be sent to selected candidates by email after the closing date. Delayed applications or applications sent by e-mail will not be taken into consideration.

Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, Finland is a professional full-time orchestra of 74 musicians, established in 1790. The City of Turku will build a new Music Centre for the orchestra, scheduled to celebrate its first performances in 2026.
