The following permanent, full-time position will be auditioned by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra:
TUTTI TROMBONE
Salary range $74,615 - $81,639. This position is only open to Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents of Australia, or New Zealand Citizens. If applicants are unable to travel to Hobart, the TSO will accept recorded auditions.
KEY DATES
- Applications open: Tuesday 3 September 2024
- Excerpts released for live auditions: Tuesday 15 October 2024, or 4 weeks before a confirmed recording date
- Applications close: Tuesday 29 October 2024, 4pm
- Final deadline for recorded submissions: Two days following a confirmed recording date, but no later than Tuesday 5 November 2024, 4pm
- Audition date: Tuesday 12 November 2024
- Start date: January 2025

Saint-Säens Cavatine for Trombone & Piano with piano accompaniment (finish before Allegro - Fig. 4)
AND
David Concertino, 2nd Mvt: Cadenza to end, with piano accompaniment
AND
All orchestral excerpts
