Divertimento Ensemble Orchestra Conducting Course

The student conductors will take part in 9 days of lessons and concerts in Moncalvo (Piedmont, northern Italy) and Milan.
The offer will include: 6 hours of analysis of the scheduled scores; 6 hours of rehearsals/day followed by one hour of checking the rehearsals carried out; Lectio Magistralis by the composers Marco Momi and Mikel Urquiza; concerts in Moncalvo, Grazzano Badoglio and closing concerts in Milan.

Mikel Urquiza (1984), new piece for accordion and ensemble (2023)
Marco Momi (1978), Iconica IV for ensemble and electronic (2010)
Tristan Murail (1947), Mémoire/Erosion for horn and 9 performers (1976)
George Benjamin (1960), At first light for ensemble (1982)
György Ligeti (1923-2006), Piano Concert (1985-1988)
SCHOLARSHIPS: The Orsolina Art Foundation provides 2 scholarships to 2 conductors to cover living expenses.
