This (like new) profiler features a cam designed by Dr. Van Hoesen and mounted on a clear chomated aluminum base. The blade can be adjusted to control the thickness of the profiled reed. Maine Tool Room encouraged me to experiment with other designs (measurements) for the cam which determines the contours of the profile. We are selling 3 cams which, along with shims, allows a greater variety of profiles.
