Beautiful 1928 Salsedo violin with a rich, warm tone and excellent projection. I bought this instrument while studying at conservatoire, where it proved to be a reliable and inspiring companion. It is ideal for an advanced student, conservatoire musician, or someone beginning their professional career.
The violin is in good overall condition for its age and has had high-quality professional restoration, including an expertly repaired front crack and a professionally bushed pegbox. Both repairs are stable, finished to an excellent standard, and do not affect its superb playing qualities.
