Anna is a dedicated piano teacher & performer, with over 30 years of experience. She teaches children & adults, using a tailored approach, beginners to Diploma level (Trinity, ABRSM). She is based in London. Her students are very successful in their exams & perform every term in festivals, obtaining gold medals. Anna has taught piano at the Conservatoire de Courbevoie, in Paris, as well as in music schools in her native Spain and at a school and adult education in London. Her first piano student was Bertolucci's son, Ugo, when she was eighteen and studying piano in Rome. Anna has performed in London, Paris, the Festival du Pays de Caux, Normandy, at the Sociedad Filarmónica, in Bilbao, the Fundación March and the Ateneo, in Madrid and the Festivale di Arenzano and the Milan Expo 2015 in Italy.
Anna studied at the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris. She was a pupil of Pierre Sancan at the Salle Pleyel and at the Academie Internationale d' Été in Nice. She studied piano in Rome and at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, with Guido Agosti. Anna went to Moscow to study with pianist E. G. Ginsburg.
Anna gained a Masters in Music (Piano, Perf), a Bachelor of Music (Hons) and a Licenciateship in Pianoforte from Thames Valley University, where she obtained a Music Medicine Therapy Diploma. She also has a Piano Teacher's Diploma from Conservatorio Superior de Música in Bilbao, Spain.
She speaks 5 languages: Spanish, French, Italian, German & English.
