Daniel Alvarez was born in Maracaibo(Venezuela) in 1988, he started his studies of Musical Language and Musical History at the age of 12 in the Niños Cantores del Zulia Institute and participated in the Choir of the Institute under the direction of Maestro Juan Carlos Bersague , where he belonged for 5 years , in those years he participated in various festivals in the region and he had appearances and events with the choir in the cathedral of Maracaibo. In the same way he began his studies with Viola and also belonged to the orchestra of the institution for two years. In 2005 he was noted for their participation in the International Conference Pueri Cantores.
At this time, he begins his first musical sketches, wich led him to learn Harmony and Musical Forms on their own, after obtaining his High School's Diploma, by economic issues, began to work in order to continue his musical studies, while continuing his personal studies in music theory.
In 2009 enters the Universidad Católica Cecilio Acosta to start college and get a Music Degree, in this place extended his studies of Harmony and theory while he was doing musical arrangements for the Musical Ensemble of the University in the same way he began to study piano and take the course of Principles of Musical Composition with Maestro Franklin Pire.
In 2014 he decides to enter the International "Menotti for young composers" competition, where despite not be winner, earned for a scholarship awarded by the project DAR (Domina Angelorum Regina) for the Conservatory Francesco Venezze of Rovigo (Italy ) and specialize in Composition, Alvarez pause college to go to Italy and get a diploma at the conservatory and in November of that year began his studies at the conservatory where he studied Ear training, Score Read, counterpoint in Bach's style and classes of composition and musical forms.
Due to economic problems of his country, he must return to his hometown and completed his musical studies and gets his degree with honors in 2016. Currently, despite the problems in his country, seeks to continue his studies in composition outside their country, also teaches at various schools and students and arranges for various chamber groups and participates in composition competitions internationally.
