Can Dedeoğlu was born in 1989 in Istanbul. In 2009 he was accepted to the Music Department of Istanbul Bilgi University with a scholarship and he was entitled to his bachelor’s degree with high honours degree being the second highest ranked student in 2013. In 2014 he received an acceptance for Music Composition Master studies from Akademia Muzyczna w Krakowie. In 2016 he started to Music Composition Doctoral studies at Istanbul Technical University, then left in 2017 without degree.
Besides audio technologies, electronic music and music philosophy, he has studied and focused on composition and orchestration under Tolga Tüzün, Tolga Zafer Özdemir, and Turgut Pöğün, Maciej Jablonski, Jaroslaw Plonka, and Wojciech Ziemowit Zych.
He also had the opportunity to attend composition master classes of Stephen Hartke, Kamran İnce and Onur Türkmen. He has attended open classes and seminars conducted by İlhan Usmanbaş, Hasan Uçarsu, Mehmet Nemutlu, Richard Boulanger, Kaija Saariaho, and Kim Cascone.
His compositions have been performed in various cities of Turkey, Italy, Germany, and Poland. He took stage as a performer (guitar, bass guitar, contrabass, voice, computer) and participated in interdisciplinary projects as a sound designer and composer.
