About the Position&#13;
The Omaha Symphony is seeking a Violin player for the position of Section Violin (Auxiliary). This position has a 70-service minimum.&#13;
The Omaha Symphony’s 38-week season with optional 39th week is stylistically diverse, and equal emphasis is placed on public performances and education/community engagement programs. Some travel will be required within the Omaha Metro area.&#13;

Compensation and Benefits&#13;
The annual base salary for this position in the 2026/2027 season is $12,683.30. &#13;

About the Position&#13;
The Omaha Symphony is seeking a Violin player for the position of Section Violin (Full Contract B). This position has a 130-service minimum. The Omaha Symphony’s 38-week season with and optional 39th week is stylistically diverse, and equal emphasis is placed on public performances and education/community engagement programs. Some travel will be required within the Omaha Metro area.&#13;
Compensation and Benefits&#13;
The annual base salary for this position in the 2026/2027 season is $23,554.70 and an optional nonconsecutive 39th week of work ($905.95), for a total annual salary of $24,460.65. &#13;
Benefits include: paid personal leave, sick leave and partially subsidized instrument insurance, and a 4% match on an employer-sponsored 403(b) retirement fund. &#13;
Audition Process&#13;
This will be a multi-round audition. Live Preliminary Rounds will be held on Monday August 24th 2026 – Tuesday August 25th 2026 , Semi- Final Rounds will be held on Tuesday August 25th 2026, and the Final Rounds on Wednesday August 26th, 2026, in Omaha at the Holland Performing Arts Center.&#13;

The annual base salary for this position in the 2026/2027 season is $46,928.99. Additional compensation includes an annual $1,000 &#13;
electronic media guarantee and an optional nonconsecutive 39th week of work ($1,234.97), for a total annual salary of $48,163.96 &#13;
Benefits include: paid personal, sick, &amp; audition leave, a two-week paid holiday break in December, partially subsidized health, dental, and instrument insurance, and a 4% match on an employer-sponsored 403(b) retirement fund. &#13;
