To cope with growing demand and our increasingly global perspective, the Royal College of Music is seeking to engage a Lecturer in Music Business to join its team of professionals. We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:&#13;
·         You should be experienced in various areas concerning music business, such as copyright, royalties, contracting, budgeting&#13;
·         You will be teaching, to an exceptionally high level of technical and musical proficiency, students at postgraduate level, so relevant teaching experience at this level is required&#13;
·         You should have a global perspective of the current practices of music business&#13;
·         You should understand the particular demands of the music business whilst striving to help each student reach the fullness of their own potential&#13;

Gesucht wird eine künstlerisch renommierte Persönlichkeit, die über solistische und kammermusikalische Erfahrungen verfügt. Pädagogische Lehrerfahrung an einer Hochschule und Orchestererfahrung sind erwünscht. Der Unterricht wird in allen Studiengängen der Hochschule erteilt.&#13;

Im Übrigen ergeben sich die Einstellungsvoraussetzungen aus § 29 Kunsthochschulgesetz Nordrhein-Westfalen.&#13;

Die Planstelle steht unbefristet zur Verfügung. Bei der ersten Berufung in ein Professorenamt erfolgt die Beschäftigung zunächst in der Regel befristet für 2 Jahre durch Übernahme in ein außertarifliches Privatdienstverhältnis mit einer Vergütung nach Besoldungsgruppe W3 LBesO NRW analog. Nach entsprechender Bewährung ist ohne erneutes Berufungsverfahren bei Vorliegen der allgemeinen Einstellungsvoraussetzungen die Übernahme in ein Beamtenverhältnis auf Lebenszeit, andernfalls nach entsprechender Bewährung ein unbefristetes Beschäftigungsverhältnis, ebenfalls ohne erneutes Berufsverfahren, beabsichtigt.&#13;

Der Umfang der Lehrverpflichtung beträgt zurzeit 18 SWS.&#13;

Die Hochschule für Musik in Detmold vertritt ein Konzept der intensiven Betreuung der Studierenden und erwartet deshalb eine dem Lehrumfang angemessene regelmäßige Präsenz der Lehrenden an der Hochschule.
