Throughout the course of our concert season, Bozeman Symphony performances and events typically include a series of seven classical subscription concerts, two Bozeman Symphony Presents performances aimed at engaging and attracting new audiences, two performances with the Montana Ballet Company, and a variety of other smaller ensemble programs. Symphony members are also encouraged to participate in our Education and Community Engagement programs by performing (solo or in smaller ensembles) around the state of Montana. A concert cycle typically consists of 4-6 rehearsals beginning on Tuesdays, and 2-3 performances between Friday and Sunday. Each season consists of around 85-90 services. Rehearsals typically take place during the evenings, and most engagements are held at the Willson Auditorium, located on Bozeman’s Historic Main Street, unless otherwise specified. Section pay will be $75/service for the 26/27 season. We offer mileage reimbursement up to $200 for musicians residing in Montana, and travel reimbursement up to $350 for out-of-state musicians.
