The Youth Programme Manager leads the operational and administrative management of all our youth activity and events. Working across multiple sites to oversee In Harmony Liverpool Philharmonic (our programme providing free music-making opportunities to children in North Liverpool) and Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company (ten weekly youth ensembles), you’ll be responsible for multi-strand project management. You’ll coordinate timetables, staffing and activity logistics, manage recruitment, and ensure all programmes run safely and to the highest possible standard – converting long-term artistic strategies into practical realities. The postholder will line manage a team, oversee all budgets and lead robust evaluation processes, while ensuring our participants are supported and our programmes are always growing. We are looking for an Admissions &amp; Programmes Co-ordinator to support musician recruitment, auditions and programme administration across NYO’s activity. This role is centred on the annual recruitment and auditions process for the NYO Orchestra, ensuring young people, families and colleagues experience clear, efficient and well-organised processes from application through to audition and onboarding.&#13;

You will support the planning and delivery of Orchestra recruitment and auditions, including application administration, scheduling, communications, audition logistics and participant records. You will also support NYO Inspire application processes, including administration and moderation activity. Outside peak recruitment periods, you will contribute to wider programme administration across the team and attend selected projects and residencies as a Residency Assistant.&#13;

This role is central to ensuring projects are well organised, well-resourced and joined up across teams, and will play a key part in helping colleagues deliver ambitious work for young people to a high standard.&#13;

You will lead on annual schedules, venue booking and contracting, freelance booking and coordination, and the maintenance of shared tools, systems and ways of working across the programmes team. Working closely with colleagues across NYO, you will help create the clarity, consistency and operational confidence needed to deliver complex projects well, while building strong relationships with venues, artists, tutors and delivery staff.&#13;

This role plays a key part in enhancing the patron experience, supporting the symphony’s performances, and fostering community engagement through volunteer involvement and educational outreach.  The Operations Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and implementation of patron services for the Glacier Symphony as well, ensuring hospitable, smooth, and efficient Front of House and Box Office operations including the reservation of tickets, audience communication, guest check-in and guest seating. This role is highly visible and interacts with sponsors, vendors, clients, and visiting artist(s) and organizations. As Operations Manager, the employee will ensure efficient day-to-day office operations for the Symphony office with a box office requirement of Tuesday – Friday from 9 AM – 4 PM.&#13;

QUALIFICATIONS&#13;
•	Bachelor’s Degree Required or Relevant Experience&#13;
•	Experience in performing arts operations &amp; personnel management, preferably with an orchestra.&#13;
